Riding for the Brand Award

Greg Carroll Riding for the Brand Award Winner

2024 Winner: Greg Carroll

In the old west, when a cowboy rode for the brand, it meant that he had signed on to the mission, goals and aims of the ranch owner. It meant that he was committed and that he was a dedicated team player. It meant, in the words of Red Stegall, that he gave his promise to protect the brand as though it were his own.

We haven't given this award out since 2008 over 16 years ago. Greg joined Armko in 2005 as a field tech and in 2014 he started working with a few clients of his own. His territory spreads out across 42,000 square miles.

Having seen him meet with his clients, he is never greeted with a handshake, but rather, a hug. He never hesitates to say yes to a client or even a potential client and continually helps others in our company any way he can. He once drove over 700 miles round trip for just one meeting for another consultant and never complained. He only asked, "did that guy close the sale?" That is what riding for the brand exemplifies in Armko and for our team.

"We haven't given this award out in more than 16 years.
Greg deserved it."
